Cameron Maintenance Services Limited was formed and introduced to the Energy Sector of Trinidad and Tobago in 1988. Our focus was directed to onshore and offshore Oil and Gas operations, with special emphasis on Plant and Facilities maintenance.
The company began as a Sole Proprietor business owned by Mr. Rodriguez Cameron. In November 1992 it was incorporated as a Limited Liability company.
In August 2004, Cameron Maintenance Services Limited was restructured to focus on integrated services that included Fabric Maintenance, Welding and Construction, Hot tapping, Machine shop work and Valve Maintenance. The company was renamed Cameron Maintenance 2004 Limited (CM 2004), as part of the restructuring process in order to enhance our engagement in a diversified environment.
As the industry transformed from basic manpower and equipment supply to integrated service suppliers, CM 2004 continued to progress as we were engaged with the new International companies in the offshore sector
As a good corporate citizen, CM 2004 ensured that their improved engagement with clients, offered opportunities to the general community. In this regard, our workshop facilities provided the ideal opportunity for apprenticeship programs that provided the necessary development with appropriately trained youths as successors that filled the growing demands for workers from the area.
